Back again!

How many times have I said that? I keep neglecting my blog these days!

A wee update!

I've started a job ... it's two days a week 10.30-4.30 secretarial work. It's going fine, everyone is really nice but a month in and I'm still finding it such a struggle to leave my boys. There's not one part of me that feels it's right except that we've got no choice!

Kevin's doing grand ... working away as usual. He's applied for a few jobs but nothing has happened yet.

We've both started doing a discipleship course at Church. We're both paired with friends and try to meet fortnightly - we started last Thursday. It has to be said that Morna & I spent loads of our time fleeing off at tangents. We really enjoyed the study though and I'm sure it'll help us grow closer to God.

Sam's doing well - he's at nursery now and loving it. Sadly, some of the worries that I've had about Sam at times seem to be causing a problem. The nursery are trying to help and have implemented an Individual Education Plan ... we'll see how that goes before taking things any further. We've also arranged to see the doctor about getting a hearing test done so that can be ruled out - I'm pretty sure that Sam has no problems hearing ... he can hear the word "chocolate" whispered from 200 yards! We'll see how it goes. Sam's a really lovely wee boy ... he's full of funny phrases and often makes me giggle ... I've started keeping a notebook and jotting down funny things that he says/does! (I'm doing the same for Connor too)

Connor's coming on in leaps and bounds. He's very adventurous and often I have my heart in my mouth! I've gone into rooms before now to see him sitting on the windowsill having had to jump from the table to get to it8| What a boy! He's beginning to say more now and runs about the house saying "There you are!" to everything!

I'm so unbelievably proud of my boys!

Nice to see you back, Naomi. It's lovely to hear of someone who seems to suit Mum-hood so well!

Thanks for your lovely comment - you've just encouraged me so much on a day when I've been doubting my Mum-ability!

Hi :)

Glad to hear about the job.

Don't worry about Sam, he's still young. Sometimes they want all chidren to act & behave the same. They don't!
