I've not seen much of my boys today. I woke up this morning feeling great and then "ouch" a migraine arrived! I still get shocked when they appear ... that's two since Connor was born and I honestly thought that after his birth that would be the end of them!

Kevin was working late today which was great - he was still here and as I couldn't keep my eyes open because of the pain and was finding it impossible to stay upright, he packed me off to bed and took the boys to Mum. I went straight to sleep and woke with the bin-men throwing wheelie bins around in our street at lunchtime! I collected my babies mid-afternoon and so spent a wee bit of time with them then. I really don't like being away from my boys ... I miss them loads!

Sam was a real wee monkey today. He's certainly getting into the "terrible twos" but he's so much fun! Actually, he's always more difficult after he's been with other people - I think he enjoys the company and then gets grumpy when he's back with Mummy again - he goes on a wee spree of touching everything he shouldn't (like the oven and sticking his hands down the toilet just for the reaction) and doing even more daredevil things than normal ... his latest tricks are to put his wee seesaw thing on top of his bed and rock on it there or to stand sideways at the top of the stairs, hold on to the bannister and then lean sideways until he nearly falls! I'm sure I'm going to have a few trips to A&E before he gets much older!

As for Connor! Well, the poor wee soul's got a dodgy tummy ... apparently he cried the whole morning at my parents' house but I think he must have been in pain. Poor wee soul, at least Sam can tell me what's wrong but at 17 weeks all you can do is cry if there's something not right! Still, we were all rewarded with loads of smiles and gurgles once he began to feel better ... let's hope that he's on the road to recovery now.

Valentines Day! How did you celebrate? Kevin & I had our Valentine's Day on Saturday but tonight he arrived home with two lovely pots of daffodils (we're not very conventional!), a box of chocolates (OK, a bit conventional) and a lovely card (very conventional) for me! What a lovely husband I have!
